Designing with Photoshop and Fireworks

Hey guys!

Just here to let you know that I've been doing some work recently in terms of designing. A friend of mine asked me to have a go at making him a logo for his WoW guild (I'm sure you all know what that is), so I gave it a go and I think it turned out great.

Here is the finished logo for his guild, of which are really nice people and you should check our their site if you're a WoW fan. I myself, however am not - so I'm only 'advertising' for them!



So, taking a look at it you can see I went with a very nice and "WoW-style" font, and the colours went well with the new expansion. I used a little bit of glow under the text and used a white outline on the black text.

I've also done some more work which I will not post, but another example could be, of course, my blog's header.

Here, again I used pretty much exactly the same kind of thing. I used a modern style font to go with the blog, the glow to bring it out and make it really stand out, and some simple text underneath.
